As part of the "Priceless Land" image campaign, children and their families were encouraged to playfully discover the unique features and beauty of our region. In 2022, a picture book was created in collaboration with Dresden illustrator Peter Ernst, presenting our district of Görlitz in a highly original way. The book invites young explorers and their families on a journey through Priceless Land. Nine large-format illustrations offer a wealth of exciting, fun, and informative details. Sights, traditions, destinations, scenic features, and, of course, a vibrant array of people and animals will captivate not only children but also many adults. 

Who are the children feeding in the Jeep at Lake Bärwalde? Why is the boy in the boat on the Neisse River laughing so loudly? What is being celebrated in Görlitz's Upper Market Square?
