AI workshop for managers of Diakonie Libera

AI workshop for managers of Diakonie Libera

Last Friday (March 13, 2026), 15 employees were waiting at the Hotel Kreuzbergbaude in Jauernick-Buschbach for our ENO managing director Sven Mimus and colleague Wilhelmine Buscha, who also had ten laptops for the workshop in their luggage.

The day began with a short devotional service organized by the directors of various social service organizations. The workshop aimed to teach the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and its role in today's life and work, using practical and hands-on skills. A variety of AI tools, such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude, were used. Participants created their own texts, images, and even composed their own music. When discussing AI, it is always important to emphasize data protection, copyright, ethics, and the EU AI Act. Under the guidance of Sven Mimus, the Microsoft CoPilot was thoroughly tested.

The feedback was very positive; the participants were enthusiastic about the possibilities and unanimously agreed that they want to integrate these tools into their daily work as soon as possible. For many, the first contact with AI was very exciting, but under expert guidance, it was easily mastered, with fantastic results. A practical Friday the 13th – without any hiccups or disruptions.
